Blightshade

"Lorne Atwater’s magic is rotting him from the inside out."

In the modern witch city of Veil, Curse Crafters are already seen as unsavory, but Lorne’s magic is blighted and growing unstable. Vain and terrified of judgment, Lorne cuts all ties and hides within a mirrored shell of perfection as he searches for a cure. He has no allies, but Lorne’s blighted magic has certainly won him enemies.

A vengeful curse victim—Sacha Finch—shadows Lorne.

Finch is ruthless, dangerous, and single-minded in his pursuit. He corners Lorne into an impossible bargain: break Finch’s curse in exchange for a cure to Lorne’s blight.

But breaking the curse will take more than magic.

Lorne must align himself not only with Finch, but with a sharp-tongued Binding witch who sees right through Lorne’s facade, and his own brother—estranged since the incident that ripped their family apart.

For any hope of a cure, Lorne must confront the relationships he’s severed, expose his diseased magic, and face the very monster who blighted him.
